So the story goes like this. Coop and I headed to preschool in the morning, La off to school, leaving Jeff home at work, all aware of the serious lack of food in the Tate home. After preschool I finally concented to the obvious knowledge that I was going to need to drag my very tired little boy to BJ's now because we needed to be back at Logan's school by 2:30 so we could hear LOGAN DO HER READING PART IN THE SCHOOLS BROADCAST (this event deserves caps because it was so cute, she did amazing and I got a little tear because I am the proudest MaMa in the pack).
SOOOO, I try to call Jeff as I am running out the preschool door to let him know I am taking a side trip on the way home, only to find out that the phone downstairs was left off the hook and consequently dead. Not willing to go upstairs and get the other phone, I decide to call him from the cell on the way. Well, once on the road I realize that the cell was left in the church bag from yesterday. Great. The trip is still on, I will just go really fast.
Unbenounced to me, at this same time Jeff is desperately trying to contact me. Turns out, he noticed I forgot the cell phone, and in an effort to be the sweetest husband in the world was trying to contact me at preschool (again the downstairs phone was dead) to tell me that he went to BJ's for me. What an awesome guy.
To make a very long story short or excessive as this case may be. Our double trip to the warehouse store won us:
10 gallons of milk
6 pounds of bananas
5 dozen eggs
6 loaves of bread
7 jugs up juice
5 boxes of juice boxes
10 pounds of chicken
FYI: Not funny at first. A little bit funny now!

Ba-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!!
The funniest thing I've ever heard!!
We're actually in need of some of those things, if we lived closer I'd just buy them off of you.
A trip to Charlotte just got a little sweeter eh??
Ooohh...you can have french toast for every meal...that'll eat through that supply fast!!!
I guess dinner will be provided by the Tate's this week!
Seriously, 10 gallons of milk? We'll have to bring over some cereal and out ice cream maker.
Hilarious!
That is so funny! It sounds just like soemthing we would do. You never can have too much milk!
Teri, I love this story and it is hilarious!! I have a great banana bread recipe if you need one. Ok, I forgot for a minute who your mamma is - of course you have one! You should plan a dinner made solely of bananas. Banana pancakes with sliced bananas and banana bread and banana milkshakes. They did it on Sesame Street once! :)
That is hilarious! What are you going to do with 10 gallons of milk? That can be your next blog! And I have to mention I love how organized your refrigerator is!
Scott and I are impressed that you are able to have 10 gallons of milk in your fridge at one time. I agree your very organized!!
I love it! You can never have too much of a good thing.
Okay so I'll try again! I thought this is very funny even at first read, sorry Teri. Bob is a great husband but he'd never go grocery shopping for me without a list and not to Cosco by himself. What a guy you have, howevewr he does bring my phone to me whenever he can't contact me. Also Cooper my sympathies for the attack of the screwdriver, don't let your Dad fool you, we had lots of I don't knows at our house when he was little and we've even experienced it just this past December. Our Polar Bear and a ransom note to jog those memories. Also Teri you didn't even dare to look out after you were safe upstairs? You are not at all nosey like me, well I'd have looked out if I'd remembered too after I got upstairs! Remembering things is not a real strong point for me these days. I have to agree with little Miss Lolly's proud MaMa, I'd have love to hear her sweet voice because I'd had beemed as much as her Mom. I think all the N>C> Tate's are Wonderful and Amazing people Love you Grandma Tate
Because it's me and I'm annoying, you know I have to point out that "unbenounced" is not a word. However, feel free to use "unbeknownst" next time (notice the root "known" embedded in the word vs. the root "noun" in your word)- that should get you where you want to go.
He-he-he. So thanks, cuz that post got me double giggles.
